Prehistory Day!

Blackwater Draw's Annual Open House will be held April 22, 2023. This event is free and open to the public!

The activities we have planned include:

• Flintknapping demonstration

• Leathercraft demonstrations

• Yucca crafts

• Atlatl spear throwing

• Scavenger hunt

• Corn grinding

• Beaded necklace making

• Face painting

• Photo booth

• Raffle

• Discussions with students, archaeologists, and anthropologists

• The unveiling of our audio tour (We are in the recording stage!!)
