Directions to the National Historic Landmark
From Clovis
Take US-60 / US-84 (W or E depending on your starting location) until you reach NM-467. Turn to travel south on 467. Stay on 467 for 11.7 miles (the road will twist, just stay on it.) The landmark is located at 508 NM-467.
From Portales
Take US-70 E/ Second Ave until you reach NM-467 N. There will be a Walmart on your right. Make a left to travel north on 467, crossing the railroad tracks. Stay on 467 for 5.1 miles. The landmark is located at 508 NM-467 on your left (just past Oasis State park).
Parking at the Landmark
The landmark can accommodate vehicles, buses, and campers of all sizes in its large, dirt-paved lot. There is plenty of room to turn around and navigate.
Directions to the Museum
From Clovis
Take US-60 / US-84 to US-70/Prince Street (see Google map on "Contact" page). Turn onto US-70 W and go 18.9 miles. You will go through the town of Portales; after the airplane make a left onto S. Ave K. Take S. Ave K. past the stop sign. We are on the right-hand side in Lea Hall.
From Portales
Take US-70 E/ Second Ave until you reach S. Ave K. Turn onto S. Ave K (going south) and continue past the stop sign. We are on the right-hand side in Lea Hall.
Parking at the Museum
There are allocated parking spaces for the museum in the lot across the street (at S. Ave K and W 15th Street). During the summer, street parking is permitted. During the semester, street parking will be ticketed without a visitor permit, which can be obtained in the ENMU Public Safety building located at S. Ave K and W 3rd Street.
