Ethnology

The Blackwater Draw Museum (BWDM) curates ethnographic materials mainly from the Miles Anthropological Collection.

This collection arrived at ENMU in the late 1960s and includes textiles, beadwork, pottery, and basketry. See highlights of the beaded objects here

Research and collections care is also on-going with the ethnographic materials. If you are interested in researching the collection or learning more, contact one of our staff members.
